Our Story

From Revitalization to Regional Leadership in Senior Care

OPS Living began as a mission-driven effort to raise the standard of assisted living in Indiana. Our leadership team specializes in revitalizing underperforming communities, turning them into welcoming environments where seniors thrive. Through hands-on management and a focus on measurable outcomes, we have earned recognition for operational resilience and financial transparency. Our communities, such as Commons at Juday Creek in South Bend and Kokomo Place in Kokomo, are known for their warmth and sense of belonging. Every OPS Living location features 24/7 onsite care staff, chef-prepared meals, and vibrant social programs. Our award-winning approach, validated by U.S. News 'Feels Like Home' honors and 'Best Places to Work' status, reflects our belief that residents deserve more than care. They deserve to feel valued and safe.

Our Values

One Purpose: Helping Families Find Peace of Mind

Everything we do is guided by our One Purpose philosophy: putting people first. For families, this means removing the daily burdens of caregiving and helping adult children return to their roles as loving sons or daughters. For residents, it means a safe, loving community where every need is met with empathy and expertise. Our team’s stability and training lead to better outcomes for seniors, whether in our boutique-style Bloomington location, Commons at Jackson Creek, or at Trail Creek Place in Michigan City, which offers specialized memory care in a secure setting. We are experts in Indiana state regulations and healthcare coordination, so families can trust us to manage the details and focus on what matters most: connection and quality of life.
